When the teacher spots a matching trait, they raise their hand and say, \u201cIt\u2019s me!\u201d Similarly, Jesus reads from the Old Testament and tells the crowd, \u201cToday this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing,\u201d because Jesus is the Redeemer described in the scriptures. For the craft, we made paper bag puppets, and the teaching assistant joyfully proclaimed, \u201cJesus Christ is the Lord!\u201d<\/p>\n

For the craft, we did a puzzle activity: older kids cut and assemble their pieces, while younger kids simply joined the puzzle together.<\/p>\n

In the craft part, Teacher Kathy led the children in making a Wonderful Bulletin Board, where we wrote down each blessing we could count on notes and attached them to the board.<\/p>\n

For our 2-k class, we learned about ‘Jesus healing the deaf man,’ and we also reviewed other miracles Jesus performed that we have read recently. Although we don’t often see similar miracles today, there are still many wonderful things that God has given us in life. We can also ask God for things that glorify Him and benefit others.<\/p>\n

In the craft session, Teacher Liu Yuan led us in making ‘the abundance of the cross.’ The children chose wonderful things from old magazines and decorated a cross with them, reminding us that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross gives us an abundant life.<\/p>\n

To bring that lesson to life, we split into two teams and played the \u201cHuman Knot\u201d game. The kids grabbed hands, twisted and turned, and found themselves in a tangled mess! But as they worked together, they leaned that to solve the puzzle, they had to trust each other and be dependable- just like Jesus is for us! It was such a fun way to see how teamwork and faith go hand in hand!<\/p>\n

Today in elementary class, we talked about God as a treasure. In Matthew 13:44-46, Jesus shared two stories about a man who sells everything to buy a treasure. For the craft activity, we made a treasure pouch out of origami and placed two chocolate coins inside to represent the treasure.<\/p>\n

This waving hand craft serves as a reminder of Jesus\u2019 boldness in our Bible story and encourages us to be bold as well. We can show courage by simply waving \u201chi\u201d to others and spreading God\u2019s love and kindness wherever we go. Just as Jesus was bold, we can be bold too!<\/p>\n
