Hi, my name is Siya. I began attending our church in 2022 and started serving as a Teaching Assistant in the children\u2019s Sunday school in the winter of 2024. My son is also part of the children\u2019s ministry, which has made this experience even more meaningful for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although I didn\u2019t have prior experience teaching in a church setting, I\u2019ve come to deeply value the importance of creating a loving and nurturing space where children can grow in their faith. By assisting the teachers, spending time with the kids, and learning alongside them, I\u2019ve seen firsthand how God is at work in their hearts. Their joy, curiosity, and sincere faith continue to inspire me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m truly grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to continuing this journey\u2014growing together in God\u2019s love.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Hi everyone! My name is Makayla, and I am currently going into my senior year of high school. I grew up attending children\u2019s ministry Sunday school here at CBCWLA, and it was there that I came to Christ. It was at CM that I gained a true understanding of God\u2019s love for us, not only through the Bible lessons that were taught to me, but also through the nurturing environment that the Teachers and TAs created.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always enjoyed working with kids, and as I have now been working with CM for about a year, their pureness and eagerness to learn about God\u2019s word always inspires me. I want to be the same beacon of God\u2019s love that my teachers were for me in the past, as I aim to create the same comforting environment that helped me come to Christ.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am so happy that God has given me this opportunity to serve, and I look forward to continuing at Children\u2019s Ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span>Hi everyone, my name is Robert and I recently joined Children\u2019s Ministry as a TA.\u00a0 I initially joined because my wife thought it would be a good fit.\u00a0 She was right!\u00a0 I feel very useful serving the Lord in this way, this opportunity is really a blessing from the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n

Growing up, I did not go to Sunday school. I hope that Children\u2019s Ministry can give children a foundation in the Gospel and faith that will help them through their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n
