(<strong style=\"color: red\">Do not rush into reading the Bible without starting with prayers!<\/strong>) (e.g., you may start with a simple prayer like this: &#8220;Dear Lord, what will you be speaking to me today?)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"color: blue\">Scripture Reading<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Get the following items ready in advance: your devotional notebook, paper, pen, and\/or electronic devotional articles so that you can easily write down the Bible verses, questions, and thoughts you have noticed! You are encouraged to open your Bible and vocally read out the scriptures (Try to practice this reading method daily or once a week)!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scripture Reading: Luke Ch. 15 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"color: blue\">Meditation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Take a moment to quietly reflect on today&#8217;s Scriptures. P<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">arable of the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Prodigal S<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">on (actually, the three\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">parables\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">can be regarded as one\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">parable\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">and the third verse<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0of Luke 15<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is expressed in the singular<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0form<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">:\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">this parable<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">).\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">But, before we review this\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">parable<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, l<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">et us<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">examine\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">verses\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">1-10<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span the main reason<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Jesus talked\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">in\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">par<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ables is<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">because\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">once,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">someone grumbled<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0about Jesus privately\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">when Jesus was\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">preaching:\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">&#8220;This man receives sinners and eats with them.&#8221;<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Of course, it was<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Pharisees and scribes.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">heep, let us\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">understand the significance of searching<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0for the lost sheep<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0in the countryside<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">until we find it<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, leaving the and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">sweeping her entire place\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u2013 trying her best to find this one lost<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0silver coin<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.
