{"id":3411,"date":"2025-11-14T23:50:34","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T07:50:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cbcwla.org\/home\/en\/?p=3411"},"modified":"2025-08-26T09:39:27","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T16:39:27","slug":"a-psalm-of-jordan-a-linite","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cbcwla.org\/home\/en\/blog\/a-psalm-of-jordan-a-linite\/","title":{"rendered":"A Psalm of Jordan, A Linite"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jordan Lin<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">1 Who is the LORD our God?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">He reigns with justice and mercy over all the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">2\u00a0The kings saw Him and bowed,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The gods thought of Him and cowered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">3\u00a0The trees stand before His glory,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The mountains and volcanoes spew out their possessions and shake in His presence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">4\u00a0The insects and choirs of men sing in unison,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The heavenly host proclaims His might.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">5\u00a0The wicked and rebellious profane Your Name,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The deceitful says in his heart, \u201cGod does not see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">6\u00a0Those people of evil will not see Your face,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">You will give back what they have given to You.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">7\u00a0But Your people will wear Your salvation as righteousness,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Your love and faithfulness will cover them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">8\u00a0We have been afflicted in Your Name,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">But with Your hand You have rescued us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">9\u00a0The flowers of the field, they speak of His power.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Year after year, they tell of His strength.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">10 The nations of people will bow before His Name,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The creatures of the earth will leap for joy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">11\u00a0Kneel before the LORD our God for who He is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">12\u00a0All of creation proclaims: \u201cHe reigns!
